'Collective punishment': UNRWA funding standoff threatens Palestinian refugee camps

Israel has accused UNRWA of collusion with Hamas and says a dozen of its employees participated in the October 7 attacks that triggered the current war. As a result, a dozen countries have suspended their funding to the agency. In the occupied West Bank, where it also operates, UNRWA fears it will now no longer be able to help refugee camps that rely on its support.
