The Baptistry in Florence dedicated to Saint John the Baptist is one of the oldest monuments in the city. Renovation works are being carried out on the dome that is covered in mosaics. Despite the renovations, the monument remains open to the public, who can instead enjoy an alternative type of visit. FRANCE 24’s Natalia Mendoza reports.
