As Ukraine dominated the summit, the leaders of Japan, the US, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, and the European Union unveiled a slew of new sanctions and other measures meant to punish Moscow over its invasion that began in February last year. But as Russia's brutal war on Ukraine grinds on, is there any sign that progressive sanctions are having any impact on Russian leadership decision-making and the on-going invasion?
