Germany sees no need to impose routine tests on arrivals from China

Spain, South Korea and Israel on Friday joined nations imposing Covid tests on travellers from China, after Beijing dropped foreign travel curbs despite surging cases. It follows measures in Italy requiring testing for every passenger from China. It also ramps up the pressure on the EU to take coordinated action. Bome European experts say they fail to see the point of more screening. Germany is not convinced yet that these measures are necessary. FRANCE 24's correspondent in Berlin, Nick Spicer, tells us more about the lack of coordination between EU countries.
