It's been over six years since the start of the #metoo movement, which saw women denounce misogyny worldwide. From the United States and Europe to Asia and Latin America. But what about the African continent? From accusations #metoo was largely western-centric, to claims that fear of a backlash silenced African women, the movement arguably had a slower impact there. Toufah Jallow, who accused the former Gambian president of rape, changed that. She joined us on Perspective.
